Colombians at home

My video is a finalist in the Peace Corps Week Video Challenge!

Something that occupied a lot of my time before and after all my vacations was this video. I made it in submission for the annual Peace Corps Week Video Challenge. Each year they determine a theme, and Volunteers from around the world make short videos to show that theme in their host country. This year the theme was Home. This video is something I am really proud of. I loved spending late afternoons walking around my town with my sitemate, attempting to explain the project to my neighbors, and asking their permission to record. I loved sitting down with my host mom to interview her about what home means in Colombia. I loved being able to include clips with my parents in them. I loved spending hours editing it. I loved seeing my host mom watch the video, and proudly share with me how her friends at work reacted.

If you enjoy the video as much as I do, qplease help me out by giving this Facebook post a like.

  1. Hi Brianna, I thought your video was very cool-and from the heart so to peak.
I am trying to pick up some Costenol -from your other video , that I could use when I visit Maya in March!
