The cat’s out of the bag

I never realized what a relief it would be to give my notice at work.  To have my managers, who are concerned about my future, know what my true plans are.  But when I had the conversations with my manager about my resignation and last days, I really did feel a weight lift off my shoulders.  Going back to my last post, I had kind of felt for a liar for the last year and a half, and now the secret’s out.

I’m down to just 4.5 days at this station.  To all of my coworkers, don’t worry: I’ll leave lots of good stuff for you to scavenge.

  1. B- I cried when I read your timeline more than any of the posts. My heart hurt reading your abbreviated honest comments on life’s bumps in the road and as well as major events. Then ultimately, my heart soared for you, reflecting on making hard decisions towards a lifetime you’ll look back on with a sense of pride and accomplishment. …also, I’m a little jealous.?
    I love you.
